Deborah Raney
DEBORAH RANEY is at work on her eighteenth novel. Her books have won the RITA Award, the HOLT Medallion, National Readers' Choice Award, and the Silver Angel from Excellence in Media, as well as twice being Christy Award finalists. She was a triple ACFW Book of the Year winner in 2008 with Remember to Forget, Within This Circle, and "Finally Home," a novella from the Missouri Memories anthology. Deborah's first novel, A Vow to Cherish, inspired the World Wide Pictures film of the same title. Her Clayburn Novels series from Howard/Simon & Schuster, includes Yesterday's Embers, releasing early in 2009 from Howard/Simon & Schuster. Deb serves on the advisory board of American Christian Fiction Writers. She and her husband, Ken Raney, have four children and enjoy small-town life in Kansas.
