The Gideon is again teaming with Experience Studios to bring you our annual Short Film Contest. The contest is now open for submissions.

This video was cast, shot and posted during the 6 days of Gideon 2011. A big thanks to our Gideon students who worked in front and behind the camera. A greater thanks to Kyle Saylors and Erica Lane for giving our students the opportunity to participate in this Gideon workshop.

FILM FESTIVAL SUBMISSIONS

We are now accepting submissions for feature length films and documentaries. Please mail your screener to:

The deadline for entries is March 31, 2012 and entries need to be postmarked by that date. Announcement of the Film Festival Schedule will be made around the end of April/first of May timeframe, depending on the number of entries. We make no guarantees that your film will be chosen due to the fact there are only 9-12 film festival slots each year and because of the large number of submissions we receive.

INTERN PROGRAM APPLICATIONS AVAILABLE

The 2012 Gideon Intern Program sponsored by Clash Entertainment has applications available on the Intern webpage. If you know a teen who will be between the ages of 16-18 this August, then send them our way and give them the link.

GIDEON IDOL WINNER IN THE STUDIO

Gideon Idol winner, Erin Jamieson, has started recording her break-thru album in the studio's of Lamon Records. Jamieson, the first winner of the newest contest at the Gideon Media Arts Conference & Film Festival, a teen from Minneapolis, Minnesota, is in the studio with producer and owner, Dave Moody, in Nashville, TN. Keep checking back to see Erin's adventures in Music City.
